Embracing the Journey: 60 Days to a Healthier Me 💪

I am nearly 60 days into my journey to a healthier me, and the progress I’ve made so far is both exciting and motivating. As of today, I am down a total of 16.8 pounds 🎉, just 1.2 pounds away from hitting my second mini goal! But beyond the number on the scale, I’m also celebrating the non-scale victories that remind me why this journey is worth it.

One of the best moments this week was fitting into a pair of pants I haven’t been able to wear since 2020 👖. That feeling was absolutely amazing! It’s proof that all the effort, the mindful eating, and the daily movement are making a real difference.

Speaking of eating, who says healthy food has to be boring? 🍕 I’ve been experimenting with new recipes, and last night, I made a healthier version of pizza logs. Let me tell you—they were SO good! 😍 Not only did they satisfy my craving for something indulgent, but they also kept me on track with my plan. Of course, I couldn’t forget about Crockpot Sunday! 🍲 This week’s creation was a delicious turkey breast cooked to perfection in the crockpot, paired with steamed fresh broccoli 🥦. Even Bella got to enjoy some, and she absolutely loved it! 🐶 It’s always fun sharing little treats with her and knowing she’s getting something wholesome, too.

Despite the miserable weather ☔, we didn’t let it stop us from getting outside! We went on a couple of hiking adventures today, embracing the fresh air and movement 🚶‍♀️🌿. Plus, I had to drop my car off at the mechanic’s and walk home, which definitely helped me hit my activity goals for the day.

Now, it’s time to wind down with some relaxation and a good book 📖. Taking time to rest and recharge is just as important as staying active. This journey is all about balance—fueling my body with nutritious foods, staying active, and taking moments to simply enjoy life.
