Sometimes, it’s the little wins that mean the most, and yesterday was one of those days for me. I wanted to share this update last night, but I got sidetracked and ended up falling asleep early. My body is still adjusting to being back to work and my new, healthier lifestyle.
One thing I’ve noticed is that it’s getting easier to curb my cravings for things I know I shouldn’t have. That’s a huge step for me! Yesterday, I had a moment that made me feel proud of how far I’ve come.
On my way home, I stopped at the store, and I was starving. Normally, that would mean grabbing something unhealthy—snacks or treats I’d munch on during the ride home. But not this time. Instead, I stayed focused, stuck to my list, and only bought what I actually needed: cottage cheese and tuna. No extras. No temptations.
It might seem like a small thing, but to me, it’s a big deal. It’s proof that I’m changing my habits and making better choices for myself. These little victories remind me that progress doesn’t have to be perfect—it’s all about those daily decisions that add up over time.
Here’s to celebrating the little wins and staying on track! One step at a time.
