This past week has felt like it stretched on forever! š«Between medical appointments and Halloween, itās been a whirlwind of stress. Halloween, of course, brought that usual dose of excitement and chaos to the classroom.š The kids are always extra amped up, and it really shows in their behavior!

I also had an eye doctor appointment, which didnāt go quite as Iād hoped. My dry eyes have been persistent, even with the drops Iāve been using 4 times a day for the last three months. So, the doctor decided to try a different approach and put plugs in my tear ducts.Ā My eyes were very sore for a few days while they adjusted to the plugs. Now, I have a new kind of drop, and Iāll be heading back in three months to see if thereās any improvement. Iām really hoping this worksāIām not sure what the next step would be if it doesnāt.

On top of everything, Iāve been battling an awful cough that comes and goes.𤧠Some days itās hard to get through a conversation without hacking up a lung.š« With the time change, my sinuses have also been giving me trouble, and itās not helping that Bella hasnāt quite adjusted to the new clock yet! She got me up early for our morning walk, which wouldnāt be so bad if it werenāt 33 degrees outside. Not ideal when youāre not feeling your best.
Today, I turned to my favorite traditionāCrockpot Sundayāto end the week on a warm and cozy note.š§āš³ I found a recipe for Garlic Parmesan Chicken and potatoes, and let me tell you, the house smelled amazing while it cooked! I had it going while I watched the Bills gameā¤ļøš¤šš, and it was such a comfort to come back to this hearty meal after that nail-biter of a game. The Bills pulled off the win, and it felt like a reward getting to finally dig into my culinary creation. Iām already looking forward to having the leftovers for lunch all week!š You can find the recipe hereš

Tonight, Bella and I are just winding down, gearing up for what will likely be another busy week.
