Happy March, everyone! 🌷
Today felt like one of those rare days where I desperately needed a pause button ⏸️. Lately life has been running at full speed, all engines roaring, and I could feel myself needing to step off the conveyor belt for a bit. So today, I did exactly that. I slowed down on purpose 🫶.
I started the morning by trying out a new crockpot recipe: garlic parmesan chicken with potatoes 🍗🥔. I even minced fresh garlic myself, which felt oddly satisfying 🧄. I bought a garlic press yesterday and officially broke it in today like a brand-new kitchen toy 🥄. The dish turned out absolutely delicious 🤤. Solid 10 out of 10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. I’ll definitely be making that again and will link the recipe below in case you want to try it!

Feeling inspired, I used the garlic press again to make a garlic and rosemary bread in the Dutch oven 🍞🌿. The aroma while it baked was pure comfort, the kind that makes the whole house feel warmer 🏡💛. The bread itself turned out just okay though. A little tougher than I’d hoped, so it might not make a repeat appearance in my kitchen 🤷♀️. Still, the smell alone was worth the experiment.
I also carved out some time for crafting 🎨✂️. I’ve been busy with shirt orders lately and honestly, I’m loving the extra income and the creative outlet 💰✨. There’s something really satisfying about seeing finished pieces stack up.

This afternoon I finished book number twenty for the year 📖🎉. That puts me almost a third of the way to my reading goal, which feels pretty great 🙌. Slow days still count as productive days.
There’s something special about spending a day doing the things you love, especially when you’ve got your four-legged little helper keeping you company the whole time 🐾💖. It really was the perfect kind of day.
Now we’re settling in to watch some Bridgerton 📺👑, and I plan to fully embrace the cozy blanket life 🛋️☕.
“Some days aren’t meant for racing forward. They’re meant for breathing deep, moving slow, and remembering what makes your heart feel at home.” 🌙
