Happy SOUPER Bowl Sunday! 🥣🏈

This weekend has been downright frigid. Yesterday morning the real feel temperature was a shocking -19° 🥶. Bella and I made the executive decision to be professional indoor dwellers and spent as much time inside as humanly possible. Thankfully, I had all my errands done by Friday after work, and laundry tackled Thursday night because I was not risking frozen washer pipes again. That planning paid off, leaving us with nothing but time to snuggle, relax, and read the weekend away.

Bella bundles up for a quick potty run.

This morning started on a cozy, productive note. I prepped and set the crockpot with a big batch of chicken vegetable soup for my daily lunches this week. There’s something extra comforting about knowing a warm, homemade meal is waiting. I’m also sharing some with my parents, because soup tastes better when it’s shared ❤️.

Yummy soup!

Once the crockpot was happily bubbling, I shifted into crafting mode and tried my hand at more shirt design creating. I’m currently working on a custom St. Patrick’s Day design just for myself. I’m having so much fun experimenting and personalizing things. I’ll definitely be sharing once it’s finished ☘️✨.
This afternoon Bella and I continued one of our favorite traditions, The Puppy Bowl 🐶🏈. We watch every year, and since Bella is a rescue pup herself, it makes it extra special. We love seeing the stories behind all the dogs and cheering them on from our cozy spot on the couch.
Dinner tonight was simple, tasty, and surprisingly healthy. I made Baked Crispy Turkey Mini Tacos using zero-carb tortillas I found at Walmart. They were easy to make, full of flavor, and definitely a repeat-worthy recipe.

These are mini about 4in

Now Bella and I are snuggled up for the rest of the night, hoping and praying these frigid temperatures move along soon. We’re ready for our walks and adventures again, preferably without needing three layers just to go outside and potty ❄️🐾.
Here’s to warmer days, cozy soups, and lots of snuggles.
