Happy February! โ„๏ธ๐Ÿ’–


Today was the definition of a lazy Sunday ๐Ÿ˜ด๐Ÿ“–. I didnโ€™t really do much of anything, and honestly, that was the plan. I spent time reading, napping, and listening to my body instead of my to-do list ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ›Œ. I even took a glorious two-hour nap this afternoon โฐ๐Ÿ˜Œ. Clearly, my body needed it, and I wasnโ€™t about to argue.
It wouldnโ€™t be Crockpot Sunday without something delicious cooking away in the kitchen ๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿ—. Todayโ€™s recipe was Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs, and of course I had to tweak it a bit. I added peppers and onions ๐Ÿซ‘๐Ÿง…, and oh my goodnessโ€ฆthe smells coming from the crockpot were absolutely mouthwatering ๐Ÿคค. I paired it with some steamed broccoli ๐Ÿฅฆ because balance matters. Naturally, Fitness Coach Bella insisted on taste-testing the broccoli first to make sure it was safe for me to eat ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ˜‰. She takes her job very seriously.


We also managed to get two decent walks in today ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿพ. The sun was shining โ˜€๏ธ, and it actually felt a little warmer outside. Thereโ€™s just something about sunshine that makes everything feel better. It lifts the mood, softens the day, and makes me believe that maybe spring is on its way ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒผ. Okay, probably not yetโ€ฆbut please donโ€™t burst my bubble. Iโ€™m enjoying the thought.
Tonightโ€™s plans are simple and perfect ๐Ÿ’•. Bella and I will be snuggled up on the couch ๐Ÿ›‹๏ธ๐Ÿพ, binge-watching Bridgerton Season 4 ๐ŸŽญ๐Ÿ“บ, wrapped in blankets and ending the day exactly how it should end. Cozy, calm, and content.
Sometimes doing โ€œnothingโ€ is exactly what we need ๐Ÿ’—โœจ
