Today has been a true lazy Sunday around here, and honestly, it was much needed. Bella 🐾 and I spent most of the day curled up on the couch while I got lost in my current book 📖. Sometimes those quiet, slow days are exactly what the heart (and body) need.
I did manage to put a turkey breast in the crockpot 🥘, which made the house smell amazing and gave us the coziest dinner without much effort. Outside, though, it’s been absolutely miserable 🌧️. Rainy, gray, and just plain nasty all day. Tomorrow it’s supposed to turn to snow ❄️, and the wind is expected to pick up 💨—definitely not looking forward to that. I’m really hoping the weather cooperates enough for me to make it to my doctor appointment on Tuesday 🤞.

Lately, I’ve been dealing with some ongoing discomfort—pain on the left side of my neck, what feels like a swollen lymph node, and pain when I swallow. This has been going on for at least a month now, along with an achy, head-to-toe feeling most days 😔. The doctor’s office had me test for COVID, which thankfully came back negative 🙏. Still, I’m eager to get some answers and figure out what’s going on, so if you have any extra positive energy to spare, I’ll happily take it 💕✨.
For now, Bella 🐶 and I are doing exactly what we should—staying inside, staying safe, and taking it easy 🛋️. She’s been keeping a close eye on me (and making sure I don’t move too much), and I’m so grateful for her constant companionship 🐾❤️.
Here’s hoping for calmer weather, clearer answers, and a smoother week ahead 💫❄️
