The Adventures of Julie and Bella 2025

Today has been one of those perfectly lazy days — and I’m not mad about it! 😴 I did a little crafting this morning ✂️ and some reading 📚, but that’s about it. Sometimes you just need a slow day!

I did manage to toss together a super simple chicken pot pie in the crockpot 🥧 — only 4 ingredients and absolutely delicious! I even froze some leftovers for those chilly winter nights ahead. ❄️

📖✨ For those of you following along with my reading challenge with my 5th graders — tomorrow’s the final day! 🎉 Calendars are due, and while I already know my total, I’m keeping it a secret until I share it with the kids. 😉

🏫 I can say I beat my goal of 54 books for the year (by 3 so far!) and read 8 books just last month! This challenge has been so inspiring for everyone involved — and I was totally shocked to see an article about it on the school district website! 💙

I can’t wait to see my students’ totals tomorrow! Until then, it’s time to relax and enjoy the rest of this cozy evening. 🩵
