Weekend Whirlwind ✨

What a whirlwind of a weekend it has been! My to-do list feels about 90% complete ✅, which is a small win in itself. Of course, I know by tomorrow afternoon it will have magically grown longer again. Funny how that works, isn’t it? 😉

This morning started off the way I love best—Crockpot Sunday! 🥘 I prepped seasoned chicken thighs 🍗, tossed in some potatoes 🥔 and carrots 🥕, and let the magic happen. By the time it was done, the house smelled amazing, and dinner was melt-in-your-mouth delicious 😋. The best part? I now have lunches for most of the week. I considered making soup 🥣, but with the forecast calling for 80-degree days ☀️, I thought I’d save that cozy idea for next weekend.

Delicious!

Once the kitchen was clean 🧽, I shifted gears into candle-making 🕯️. My mom requested a Banana Bread Candle 🍌🍞, and honestly, how could I resist? Before I knew it, I had poured not just one, but a few. The house was filled with the scent of warm, fresh banana bread—it almost felt like something was baking in the oven. Now the waiting game begins as they cure ⏳. I can’t wait to test them out in a week or so!

With the candles setting, I tackled the never-ending laundry pile 🧺, and then Bella 🐾 let me know it was time for her afternoon stroll 🚶‍♀️. We walked through the neighborhood 🌳, enjoying the fresh air before heading back home to settle in for the Bills game! Jerseys on 👕, snacks ready 🍿—we were in full game-day mode ❤️🤍💙🏈.

Bella with game day snacks!

Now, as the evening winds down 🌙, I’m just soaking in a little relaxation before another busy week begins. A full weekend always makes me tired 😴, but it also makes me grateful 🙏—grateful for good food, cozy scents, wagging tails, and football Sundays.

Here’s to the week ahead! 💕
