Back to School & Bye-Bye Bees ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“š

Today was the first day of school! ๐ŸŽโœ๏ธ Hard to believe, but this year marks my 25th year of teaching ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ. Honestly, it doesnโ€™t seem possible that Iโ€™ve been in the classroom that longโ€”it feels like itโ€™s flown by. It was so good to see the students today, their fresh energy always makes the first day special. ๐Ÿ’›

This year I have a brand-new position, which means a brand-new routine. ๐Ÿ”„ Iโ€™m moving between five different classrooms ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿซ, and right now Iโ€™m still figuring out how to juggle it all. I know that, with time, it will become second nature, but for now Iโ€™m taking it one day at a time. โณ

On another note, I have some great newsโ€”the bees are finally gone! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ Tonight when I checked the porch, I didnโ€™t see a single live bee. I did find plenty of dead ones, though, so I followed the Bee Guyโ€™s advice and vacuumed them all up. ๐Ÿงน After that, I opened the front door ๐Ÿšช and a couple of windows ๐ŸชŸ to air everything out.

Tomorrow, Bella ๐Ÿพ will be thrilled because sheโ€™ll finally get her โ€œthroneโ€ ๐Ÿ‘‘ back on the porch. She has missed keeping watch from her favorite spot ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ’บ, and honestly, Iโ€™ve missed having my reading nook too. ๐Ÿ“–โ˜• Hereโ€™s to many peaceful porch days aheadโ€”bee-free and book-filled! ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
