The Adventures of Julie and Bella 2025

Today was such a difficult day for this momma. 💔 After being home all summer, I had to head back to work this morning, and my heart just ached leaving Bella behind. I’ll be honest—I cried almost the entire way to work.

Don’t get me wrong, it was wonderful to see my coworkers again, but I missed being in my safe space with Bella. Once I got to school, I managed to stay pretty busy checking things off my to-do list, which helped keep my mind distracted (well… most of the day). By lunchtime though, I couldn’t resist sneaking a peek at the Ring camera. There she was—curled up and snoozing so peacefully. 🐾💤

When I finally made it home, Bella made sure I got plenty of snuggles and kisses to make up for the day apart. We went for a nice long walk, shared dinner, and now we’re winding down together. I’ve got my book in hand (seriously, how dare work interfere with my reading time! 📚😂), and we’re watching Wheel of Fortune in the background.

Here’s hoping tomorrow feels a little easier—for both of us. 💕
