Today was another busy one from start to finish! I started off bright and early with some yard work—mowing the lawn 🚜 and tackling that stubborn bush 🌳 at the back corner of my garage. No matter how many times I cut it down, it insists on growing back. Since its roots are under the garage, digging it out isn’t an option, so for now it’s a never-ending battle!
After the yard work, it was time for grocery shopping 🛒. By the time I got back, Bella decided it was adventure time. 🐶💕 We took a ride 🚗 over to the local college 🎓 for our afternoon walk, and then swung by the BOX 📦 for a little “lunch” treat. 🍔
This afternoon I finally got around to finishing some shirts 👕 I was making for myself. The cooler weather today was such a gift ☁️—the craft room didn’t feel like the surface of the sun 🔥, so we didn’t mind hanging out in there for a bit! ✨
I also, of course, checked in on Mom and Dad via phone ☎️. Dad is doing well with his PT, although he is having pain when he is up and about. But doing much better than. I expected one week post surgery!
Now I am going to relax 🌙 as my eyes 👀 and cheeks are hurting again. I’ll be using the cooling mask 🧊 tonight. Still no call from the specialty pharmacy 💊. I’ll be trying to call them tomorrow—I need the drops or my eyes aren’t going to get better, and the pain (which has now traveled up into my upper cheeks) just won’t go away. 💙🙏
