Happy Grillin’ Sunday: Rest, Realness & Little Victories 🍗🌱🥧

Today didn’t go quite as planned—and that’s okay. 💛

I had high hopes for a super productive and creative Sunday, but my body had other ideas. Between the sinus pressure 🤧 and the relentless fatigue 😴, I spent most of the day curled up on the couch, drifting in and out of sleep. Not what I pictured—but maybe exactly what I needed.

Bella was snoozing right along with me! 🥰

Even in the fog of not feeling 100%, there were still a few wins I’m grateful for. 🙌

This morning started with something sweet—my homemade sugar-free apple pie! 🍏🥧 I used apples I had frozen from last Fall, and let me just say, it was totally worth it. There’s something so satisfying about enjoying food you prepared and preserved yourself. 💚

Yum! 🍎

Breakfast also got a garden-fresh upgrade with scrambled eggs featuring green peppers I picked just this morning. 🫑🍳 The flavor? Incredible. There’s just nothing like growing your own food and tasting the reward. 🌱💪

Look at these pretties!

And for Grillin’ Sunday? You guessed it—chicken breast marinated in soy sauce and garlic. 🔥🍗 Simple, flavorful, and so juicy! I paired it with leftover brussels sprouts because, let’s be real, easy was the goal tonight. 😅 Bonus: I’ve got leftovers ready to fuel my week! 🥡💼

Despite the blahs, I managed to sneak in a little garden time this evening. 🌇 I gave my plants a boost with my homemade eggshell fertilizer 🥚🌿 and picked a few more tomatoes 🍅 (some of which will be frozen for Sauce Day 2025—yes, it’s already in motion! 💪❄️)

Some days don’t go as planned. Some days you rest more than you move. But even on those days, you can still find moments of progress, joy, and purpose. ✨💗

Now it’s time for Tylenol, a cozy blanket 🛋️🩵, and more rest—because healing is productive, too.

Here’s to listening to your body, celebrating the small wins, and always finding a reason to smile—no matter what kind of day it’s been. 🌈😊
