Today has been all about finding calmβor at least trying to after knocking out the morning work list πͺπ. The day started with mowing the lawn π (yay, cardio!) and then a quick run to the store π for a few groceries π₯¬π₯.
Since I was already out, I decided to swing by the local greenhouse π± to see if they had any veggies for sale. They didnβt… but I stayed to browse (you know how that goes π ). Well, guess what happened? Two absolutely gorgeous plants just jumped into my cart! πΌπͺ΄ What was I supposed to doβleave them behind? Of course not! But first, I gave them a quick bee inspection π before loading them into the car π. We donβt need any uninvited hitchhikers! π Bonus: they were 50% off! ππΈ

The lady at the greenhouse even told me I could split them and plant them in a few spots once the weather cools a bit π. I love a plant with potential and options! πΏπ
Once the errands were wrapped up β , Bella πΆ and I went for a short afternoon walk πΆββοΈ. Then it was time to unwind with book #34 π, which I finishedβ¦ and immediately started #35 π. (A perfect kind of day, honestly!) After a bit of reading, Bella and I both snuck in a peaceful little nap π΄π€.

Even with rain in the forecast βοΈ, I decided to head out to the garden this evening π. Iβm glad I didβtonightβs tomato harvest was plentiful again π π π , and my little eggplants are growing fast! π Itβs amazing how much things can change overnight in the garden π±β¨.

Now Bella and I are settled on the front porch πͺ, listening to the soothing sound of the water fountain π¦, watching the sky darken π, and soaking in the quiet π. A lovely ending to a simple, beautiful day ππΎ.
Hereβs to more of these moments. π₯°πΈπΏ
