🌸 Finding My Calm (With a Side of Tomatoes and Plants That Jump!) πŸŒΈ

Today has been all about finding calmβ€”or at least trying to after knocking out the morning work list πŸ’ͺπŸ“. The day started with mowing the lawn 🚜 (yay, cardio!) and then a quick run to the store πŸ›’ for a few groceries πŸ₯¬πŸ₯–.

Since I was already out, I decided to swing by the local greenhouse 🌱 to see if they had any veggies for sale. They didn’t… but I stayed to browse (you know how that goes πŸ˜…). Well, guess what happened? Two absolutely gorgeous plants just jumped into my cart! 🌼πŸͺ΄ What was I supposed to doβ€”leave them behind? Of course not! But first, I gave them a quick bee inspection 🐝 before loading them into the car πŸš—. We don’t need any uninvited hitchhikers! πŸ˜‚ Bonus: they were 50% off! πŸ˜πŸ’Έ

🌿πŸͺ΄These beauties just jumped into my cart… what was I supposed to do, say no? πŸ˜πŸ’š

The lady at the greenhouse even told me I could split them and plant them in a few spots once the weather cools a bit πŸ‚. I love a plant with potential and options! πŸŒΏπŸ’š

Once the errands were wrapped up βœ…, Bella 🐢 and I went for a short afternoon walk πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ. Then it was time to unwind with book #34 πŸ“–, which I finished… and immediately started #35 πŸ“š. (A perfect kind of day, honestly!) After a bit of reading, Bella and I both snuck in a peaceful little nap πŸ˜΄πŸ’€.

Even with rain in the forecast β›ˆοΈ, I decided to head out to the garden this evening πŸŒ‡. I’m glad I didβ€”tonight’s tomato harvest was plentiful again πŸ…πŸ…πŸ…, and my little eggplants are growing fast! πŸ† It’s amazing how much things can change overnight in the garden 🌱✨.

Now Bella and I are settled on the front porch πŸͺŸ, listening to the soothing sound of the water fountain πŸ’¦, watching the sky darken 🌌, and soaking in the quiet πŸŒ™. A lovely ending to a simple, beautiful day πŸ’–πŸΎ.

Here’s to more of these moments. πŸ₯°πŸŒΈπŸŒΏ
