Healing, Harvests & Home Projects

Today was finally the day I’ve been counting down to for two weeks—my stitches appointment! 🙌 The nurse initially had me a bit worried when she mentioned they might not come out due to some drainage, but thankfully the doctor reassured me that the drainage is actually a good sign. He said the antibiotics are doing their job, and the reduced pain confirms it. 💊✨

So… the stitches are OUT! 🎉 He cleaned the site, popped a bandage on, and gave me marching orders to apply cocoa butter to help the healing process. So it looks like I’ll be making a Walmart run tomorrow! 🛒🌿

After the appointment, I decided to dive into a new mini project—turning the front porch into a cozy library/reading nook! 📖🪴 I didn’t finish today, but I made a great start and can’t wait to keep going tomorrow. It’s going to be the perfect little escape!

Today’s garden haul made me smile too—3 regular tomatoes, 1 Roma, and 2 adorable cherry tomatoes! 🍅🍅 I’ve got several more ripening up and might have a bigger harvest tomorrow. I even enjoyed one of the fresh tomatoes with dinner tonight—SO juicy and flavorful. 🌞🌱

🍅Fresh from the garden! Today’s harvest: 3 regulars, 1 Roma, and 2 cherry cuties! Nothing beats the taste of homegrown. ❤️🌿#TomatoTuesday

We hope you had a wonderful Tuesday! 💛
