The Adventures of Julie and Bella 2025

Whew, what a day! 😮‍💨

Today started bright and early as I took my parents downtown for my dad’s pre-op appointment. His knee replacement surgery is just two weeks away! Everything went well at the appointment, but let me tell you—it made for a long day. By the time we got back, I was more than ready for a nap… well, after Bella and I took our afternoon walk, of course! 🐾

Bella was on the lookout for her buddy, Buddy the Golden Retriever 🐕💛—but no luck this afternoon! Luckily, they got to hang out a bit this morning, so all was not lost in the pupper social world. 🐶💬

As for me, I’m still dealing with these darn stitches. 😣 They were seeping again today, so I had to keep them covered to avoid any messy mishaps with my clothes. The pain was on and off—better than before, but still lingering. I cannot wait to see the doctor tomorrow. Fingers crossed the stitches come out and this chapter can finally close! 🤞🩹

Tonight’s garden adventures brought a little spark of joy—I think I finally spotted some cucumbers coming in! 🥒✨ Plus, a few tomatoes are so close to being ready to pick, but I left them for one more day. My windowsill is already overflowing with garden goodies! 🍅🌱

Now it’s time to relax for the night. I thought about having a little backyard fire, but I’m just too wiped out. Maybe tomorrow night. 🔥💤
