Happy Grillinโ Sunday! ๐โ๏ธ
Todayโs dinner was simple, fresh, and oh-so-satisfying! I marinated chicken breasts in โOlive Gardenโ dressing ๐ฅ and grilled them up to perfection ๐ฅ. On the side, I steamed some bright green broccoli ๐ฅฆโlight, healthy, and totally delicious! ๐
Before dinner, I spent some much-needed time out in my gardens ๐งค๐ฑ. I planted four new pots with bean seeds ๐ซ and harvested a handful of tomatoes ๐ . Theyโll ripen in the window alongside their sunny little friends โ๏ธโthis trick helps the plants focus on producing even more fruit! Win-win! ๐

I also took a stroll around my flower beds with my camera in hand ๐ธ. Everything is blooming beautifully! ๐ธ๐ผ Iโm still (impatiently ๐ ) waiting for my Black-Eyed Susans to bloom. The ones in the front garden are always fashionably lateโbut there are tons of buds out there, just waiting for their moment to shine! ๐๐ป

The rest of the day has been low-key ๐๏ธ. Unfortunately, my stitches have been acting up again. Yesterday and this morning, I woke up to find some bloody stains on my PJs and bedding ๐๐ฉธ. The doctor said everything looked okay last week, and Iโm already on antibiotics ๐โso Iโm not sure whatโs going on. Iโve kept it covered today, so it hasnโt leaked through to my shirt. The good news? The pain has eased up quite a bit ๐, which means I can at least get comfortable now and then. Tuesday can’t come soon enoughโIโll be SO relieved to get these stitches out! ๐ฉ๐งต
Tomorrow, Iโll be taking my dad to his pre-op appointment for his upcoming knee replacement surgery ๐ฆต๐ผ. We have to head into the city ๐๏ธ to the hospital for a series of tests and prep. Itโs going to be a long day for him, but Iโll have my book bag packed ๐โitโs reading time for me in the waiting room! ๐๐ฐ๏ธ
Wishing you all a cozy evening filled with good food, garden magic, and a little self-care ๐๐ท.
