Happy Friday from Bella and Me! ☀️🐾

What a difference a day makes! After days of feeling like we were living on the surface of the sun, today’s cooler temps were a welcome relief! Bella and I got our walks in without feeling like we were going to melt into the pavement. She was full of pep, sniffing every bush and spying on squirrels like it was her full-time job. 🐶🌿

Since it was so much cooler, my craft room was finally comfortable enough to spend some time in! I dove into a couple of projects and ended up making myself a Buffalo Bills shirt 💙❤️ and a new Dog Mom hoodie 🐾—both turned out SO cute, and I can’t wait to wear them!

This afternoon brought something a little more serious—my six-month follow-up mammogram. Back in October, they noticed a small spot, so today’s visit was to check for any changes. I’ll admit, I was nervous, especially with my stitches still healing, but I let the tech know ahead of time, and she was super gentle and understanding. Fingers crossed for good results—just playing the waiting game now. 🙏💗

Later, Bella and I spent a peaceful afternoon on the patio. I finished Book #32 for the year—yep, started it yesterday and couldn’t put it down! 📚 While I read, Bella lounged like the queen she is, sunbathing and supervising the neighbor weed whacking… oh, and of course, keeping a close eye on Katie, his dog. Spy mode: engaged. 🕶️🐾

After dinner, I gave the garden some love and hooked up my new “hose of GOLD” 💛 to water the babies. They’ve been thriving thanks to the rain the past couple days! I was so excited to finally harvest my first Early Girl tomato and my first Roma of the season! 🍅 There are more Early Girls starting to turn, so it won’t be long before I’m picking tomatoes by the handful!

Grateful for a cooler, calmer day. 💛 Here’s to more of these small joys and wins—crafting, reading, harvesting, and sweet Bella time.
