The Adventures of Julie and Bella 2025

Today’s garden check-in brought me the cutest little surprise — two teeny tiny brussel sprout babies! Seriously, they were about the size of a dime and so stinkin’ adorable I almost couldn’t bear to pull them… almost. I did go ahead and harvest them so the others can keep growing strong 💪 (garden tough love!). I also picked 11 green beans tonight — my little veggie patch is slowly but surely showing off! 🫘✨

I really wanted to spend today working on my candles, but my longer wicks didn’t show up until 7:50 PM — womp womp 😩 So instead, I dove into some other projects to stay productive. Gotta keep the creative energy flowing!

On the less glamorous side of life… these stitches are testing every ounce of my patience. I’m super uncomfortable sitting or lying down, and even clothes brushing against them makes me wince. It’s only been three days and I’m already counting down to the 22nd. That’s when I can finally get them out — not that I’m counting the hours or anything… 😭

Now it’s time to unwind for the evening — I’m off to do some blueberry recipe hunting (I have ideas!) and snuggle up with my favorite nurse, Bella. 🐾💙
