The Adventures of Julie and Bella 2025

Today has felt long — not in a bad way, just in a tired, sore, need-a-nap kind of way. I had a minor surgical procedure done at the hospital this morning 🏥. A cyst on my back that had been removed once before decided to make an annoying comeback 😣 — only this time it was larger and more irritating. So… off it went! ✂️ I have three stitches now in its place!

Afterward, the instructions were clear: no bending, no lifting, and lots of rest 🛌. Luckily, I had the best nurse by my side — Nurse Bella! 🐶💉 She took her job very seriously today. She made sure I stayed put by curling up next to me and giving me “the look” if I dared try to do too much. 🥹💕

We spent the day lounging around — reading 📚, watching TV 📺, and doing a little too much scrolling through Amazon Prime Day deals 📦🛍️. (Oops? 😅) I may have found a few goodies! Have you found any awesome deals? Drop them in the comments — I’d love to see what treasures you snagged! 💬👇

At one point, I needed to go check on my green babies in the garden 🌱💚 — from a safe distance, of course. I couldn’t bend to open the gate 🚫🚪, so I admired them from outside the fence like a proud plant mom peeking through the nursery window 🪴👀. Thankfully Mother Nature took care of the watering this morning with a little rain ☔🌧️.

As the day went on, the soreness started to set in 🫤 — nothing too dramatic, just enough to get me into my jammies early 🛏️. Bella and I are winding down with some Ghost Hunters 👻 and a popcorn snack 🍿. She insists on her fair share, naturally 😆. I’ll probably take a Tylenol 💊 before bed and call it a night 🌙.
