🌱 Happy Garden Update Tuesday! 🌿

Today has been an all-around wonderful day! I kicked things off with a fresh haircut — it always amazes me how something so simple can make you feel like a brand-new person. 💇‍♀️ Then it was off for a quick grocery run before heading back home.

This afternoon, Bella and I went out for our walk — in a light sprinkle! ☔️ Of course, Bella had her own ideas and dragged me down a street we don’t usually explore. And I’m so glad she did because… we found a little free library! 📚 I was so excited to find a new book to add to my TBR shelf! We’ll definitely be checking back next month to see what new treasures pop up.

Later, we spent some time relaxing while I got lost in my current book. I can’t seem to put it down! It’s by a new-to-me author and I’m loving their style so far. 📖✨

But now for what you’ve all been waiting for… the garden update! 🌿🍅

Our little driveway garden has absolutely exploded over the past few days!

Buds I think!

🌱 Eggplants – I think I see buds! This is my first time growing them, so I’m extra excited to see what happens.
🌱 Cucumbers – They’re finally budding and starting to climb the trellis like champs!

🌱 Spaghetti squash – These are from a friend, and they’re also budding! I can’t wait to see them grow.

Squash!

🌱 Peppers – I’ve got a bunch of tiny peppers on a variety I can’t remember the name of, but they’re sweet and long, and they’re doing great!

One of the sweet peppers!

🌱 Brussels sprouts – Something has been munching on the leaves (rude), but after some research, it looks like the plants should still be okay.

Rude little buggers are eating my leaves!

🌱 Green beans – Starting to pop up and grow!
🌱 Zucchini – I saw some fallen blossoms on the soil, but there are more flowers ready to open, so I’m staying hopeful for some zucchinis soon!

And now… drumroll please… the tomatoes! 🍅🍅🍅
Holy moly do I have tomatoes! Romas, Early Girls, and cherry tomatoes are thriving and getting bigger every day. It’s like a little tomato jungle out there!

This is just one plant!

Tonight’s garden adventure brought me so much joy. Being out there, watching things grow, and seeing all the tiny signs of life makes me so happy. 💚 I truly love my gardens and look forward to every moment I get to spend in them all summer long.

Until next time, happy growing! 🌼
