Boy am I exhausted! Itās only Wednesday and itās already been one of those weeks. You know the kindābusy, nonstop, and a little overwhelming. But tonight, I finally got a chance to slow down and spend some time in my happy place: the garden. š
The weather has finally turned around the last couple of days, which has been a relief! We had some pretty intense storms roll through on Monday. While I could definitely do without the rain and mud (ugh), I have to admitāit did wonders for the garden! Everything looks refreshed and vibrant. I just came in from watering and doing a little inspection tour, and wow, what a difference!
šæ I spotted my first tomato starting to form, and one of my peppers is now about the size of a nickel!

š„¦ The Brussels sprouts (a first-time grow for me!) are looking pretty healthy so far.
š„ The cucumbers, green beans, and zucchini have finally decided itās time to take off, and I couldnāt be happier watching them thrive.

š The eggplant, though⦠not so much. Iām not sure whatās going on there, since Iāve never grown those before either. Definitely adding āeggplant troubleshootingā to my research list this week.
Despite the chaos of the week, being out in the garden tonight filled my cup. Thereās just something so peaceful and rewarding about seeing all the hard work begin to pay off. Iāve always adored my flower beds, but growing food? Itās on a whole different level of satisfaction. Thereās nothing quite like the feeling of knowing you grew the food on your table.

For now, it’s time to rest, snuggle up with Bella, and recharge for whatever the rest of the week brings. š¾š¤
Until next time,
ā Julie
