What a glorious day it has been! ☀️ Blue skies, sunshine, and just the right amount of breeze to make you feel like Mother Nature finally remembered it’s Spring Break 2025!
Bella and I are soaking it all in—we didn’t just take one walk, or even two… oh no, we went for THREE full-on adventure strolls today! 🚶♀️🐾 Clearly, we’re training for the Springtime Sniff Olympics (Bella’s idea, not mine).

Yesterday, we kicked off break with a luxurious trip to our favorite local peninsula… the chaise section of the couch. 🛋️🤣 It was the ultimate staycation: reading 📚, lounging, snacking 🍿, sipping on homemade iced coffee ☕ (bless that extra-strong brew), and just being gloriously lazy. And the best part? I could actually see the pages again, thank you very much, eyeballs!👀
Today was a beautiful balance of productivity and peace. After setting up Crockpot Sunday—this week’s feature: marinated flank steak with onions 🥩🧅 (chef’s kiss!)—I tackled a bit of organizing 🗂️, prepped some crafting projects ✂️, and yes, kept the book pages turning.
I even ventured out to retire the holiday lights (RIP twinkle season ✨) and pulled up the driveway stakes—because I’m pretty sure the snow is finally done showing off ❄️✋. My spring flowers are peeking up through the soil like little leafy miracles 🌸, so I gave the front garden a quick tidy. It’s giving cottagecore joy.


The house has smelled amazing all afternoon thanks to that crockpot masterpiece, and yes, it tasted just as heavenly as it smelled 🥰

Tonight? Bella and I have a movie night planned 🎥🐶. Snuggles, maybe a few more snacks (because balance), and a cozy end to a perfect Spring Break day #2.
