Happy Crockpot Sunday! 🍲☔

Rainy, dreary days call for cozy, lazy Sundays—and that’s exactly what Bella 🐶 and I had today! We didn’t do much at all, and honestly, it was just what we needed.

The day started with prepping the crockpot for a warm and comforting meal. My original plan was chili, using up the last of my garden tomatoes 🍅 from the freezer, but things took a turn when I realized the “ground turkey” I pulled out was actually ground chicken. Oops! Improvisation to the rescue—I ended up making a “chicken minestrone” style soup 🥣 packed with veggies. Sometimes, the best crockpot meals are the ones that happen by accident!

After getting the crockpot going, I spent some time crafting. ✂️🎨 I needed to run my sublimation printer (gotta keep that ink from drying out!), so I made myself a new kitchen towel 🏡 and tested a design for a potential holiday ornament. 🎄 I know Christmas is more than six months away, but if I want to sell them, I need to plan ahead. I really like how it turned out, so it just might make the cut!

The rest of the afternoon was pure relaxation. Bella and I snuggled up with my current book 📖 while the laundry was going—a perfect way to pass the time on a rainy day. When lunchtime rolled around, Bella insisted on “sharing” my apple 🍏 and peanut butter 🥜. She has great taste!

By the afternoon, the weather had cleared a bit, so we went for our usual walk 🚶‍♀️🐕. Then it was back to more relaxation—some TV 📺, some napping 💤, and just enjoying the slow pace of the day.

Lazy Sundays like this are the best. 💕 I can’t wait for the next one! 😊
