What a day full of culinary adventures! It’s been a few weeks since I last put my crockpot to work, so I decided to bring it back in style with a slow-roasted turkey breast. Let me tell you—it turned out so tender and flavorful! For sides, I whipped up some oven-roasted carrots with rosemary and a batch of creamy mashed cauliflower. Everything came together perfectly, and I might just have to put this meal on repeat!



A Cottage Cheese Conundrum 😡
In my quest to try something new, I attempted to make cottage cheese chips for the first time. Unfortunately, even after straining the cottage cheese, it was still too watery, and they didn’t quite turn out. Trial and error, right? But what really frustrated me was my local Aldi’s no longer carrying low-fat cottage cheese! After months of searching, I finally asked about it yesterday, only to be told it’s likely gone for good. 😡 However, I did manage to find it at the Hamburg Aldi’s a few weeks ago—apparently, that’s a different district. So now, I’ll just have to stock up when I’m out that way! (Side note: Walmart’s cottage cheese is a no-go for me—way too watery and gross.)

Prepping for the Week! 🥦🥕🍽️
This morning was all about setting myself up for success! I washed, chopped, and prepped all my fresh veggies for the week. It might take some extra time on Sundays, but it saves me so much hassle during busy weeknights!

After all the kitchen fun, I spent some quality time snuggling with Bella and diving into book #12 of the year! 📚 The rain finally stopped, and the sun came out just in time for a great afternoon walk. It was surprisingly warm out, which made our adventure even better!
