Some mornings start like any other—until they don’t.
Today began as usual: I woke up (a little later than planned 😅), got Bella 🐶 ready, and headed out for our morning walk. At 5:30 a.m., the world was still cloaked in darkness 🌙, and an icy layer made each step a careful calculation ❄️. But then, something unusual happened.
I looked up, and in the vast, cold sky, I saw something I couldn’t quite explain—a long line of bright lights, moving fast ✨. My breath caught, my mind raced. What was I seeing? By the time I fumbled for my phone 📱, the lights had vanished, leaving me questioning if I’d imagined them. But just as I took a few more steps, they reappeared, this time dimmer, but still mesmerizing. I managed to snap a quick picture 📸, though it hardly captured the wonder of the moment. And just like that, they were gone.

Back inside, the day moved forward, but a part of me stayed with those mysterious lights. There’s something about unexpected moments like that—little reminders that the world is bigger, more mysterious, and more beautiful than we sometimes remember. 🌎💫
Work was… challenging. Adjusting to only one hearing aid is tough 🎧. The noise, the voices, the effort it takes to focus—it all feels magnified. I don’t want frustration to creep in, especially with my students. It’s not their fault I can’t hear them well. It’s on me to be patient, to breathe, to remind myself that kindness—especially toward myself—is key. 💙

Then, in the midst of the struggle, a bright spot ☀️. A friend gifted me two entire bags of books 📚. TWO BAGS! It felt like Christmas morning 🎄 as I sorted through them, finding titles I’d been wanting to read, others that intrigued me, and some I never knew I needed. There’s a special kind of joy in adding new books to my TBR shelf—a quiet comfort, a promise of future adventures waiting between the pages. 📖✨

And now, as the day winds down, I’m indulging in a little ritual of mine—a homemade iced coffee ☕, the first pages of a new book 📖, and the best part of all: Bella snuggles 🐶💕. She curled up next to me, warm and content, as if she knew exactly what I needed to end the day on a peaceful note. There’s nothing quite like the unconditional comfort of a pet—the way they sense your emotions and wrap you in their quiet, steady love. 🥰
The world may be unpredictable, challenging, even frustrating at times, but tonight, in this moment, I have a drink, a good story, and the sweetest snuggles. 🥰
Here’s to the small joys, the unexpected wonders, and the love of a furry companion. Wishing you all a peaceful evening. 💫🌙💛
