The Adventures of Julie and Bella 2025

You know those days where you just can’t win? Today was one of them. Snow was coming down all day, so I figured I’d get ahead of it and clear the driveway. I bundled up, pulled out the snowblower, and—miracle of miracles—it started up without a hitch! But my luck ran out fast. The second I engaged the auger lever, it stalled right out. 😩

I am not a mechanic, so after a few frustrated attempts to get it running, I gave up and grabbed my trusty shovel. Let me tell you, shoveling in frigid temperatures is no joke. 🥶 I managed to clear most of the driveway but left the end by the road alone—it’s all ice and crud from the city plows. My plan? Just gun it and hope for the best when I have to leave. 🤞 Fingers crossed the forecast is right and this snow melts soon! ☀️

After that chilly adventure, I shifted gears into full cleaning mode. 🧼 The morning started with deep-cleaning my makeup brushes—something I always put off but love once it’s done. Then it was Bella’s turn! 🐶 I cleaned her crate, washed all her blankies, and even gave her an old bed comforter to snuggle into. Safe to say, she’s living her best cozy life now. 🛏️💕

With the house feeling fresh, it was time to relax. I spent the afternoon lost in my current book 📖, which has completely sucked me in—I just have to know what happens next!
