A Mini Goal, a Sweet Reward, and a Productive Day!

Hey friends,

It’s been 25 days since I embarked on my journey to a healthier self, and I’m feeling more motivated than ever! 🎉 I decided early on that setting mini goals for myself would be the best way to stay on track and celebrate progress. My first goal? Lose 10 pounds and reward myself with something I absolutely love—Tim Hortons Iced Coffee.

Well, guess what? Not only did I hit that goal, but I surpassed it by losing 11 pounds! Okay, it’s just a little extra, but hey, every pound counts, and I’m so proud of it. This morning, while out grocery shopping, I treated myself to that long-anticipated iced coffee. Let me tell you, it never tasted so good! ☕

Bella wasn’t feeling her best today, so she missed out on her usual Timbit. I promised her she’d get one next time, though. She’s my little adventure buddy, after all.

Now that I’ve hit my first mini goal, it’s time to set a new one. I’m still brainstorming what that will look like and what reward I’ll pair with it. Maybe something fun like a manicure or a new book? I’ll keep you all posted when I decide!

Bella and I had a pretty productive Saturday. Between finishing the grocery shopping and doing a load of laundry, we also managed to get in two walks despite the chilly weather. Though they weren’t long walks, we still enjoyed the crisp air. I’ve also been working on an order for 15 tumblers—7 are finished so far! I had to take a break from sublimating because the smell was giving me a headache, even with the window cracked. No worries; I’ll chip away at it during the week.

Dinner tonight is a healthier twist on comfort food: turkey meatloaf. I ditched the breadcrumbs and added mushrooms, zucchini, seasonings, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese to bind it all together. It’s in the oven now, and the house smells incredible! I can’t wait to dig in.

The rest of the evening will be all about unwinding. Bella and I plan to snuggle up, watch some TV, and recharge for the week ahead.
