What a wild few days it has been! Our area was hit hard with an arctic blast, bringing temperatures so low that it felt like -19 degrees outside. 🥶 Unsurprisingly, schools were closed, so I’ve been off work since last Friday. While I love a good snow day, these temperatures were a whole new level of cold!🌬❄️🥶

With the windchill and lake-effect snow, walks with Bella 🐾 were kept to an absolute minimum. We both agreed that snuggling up inside was the better option. (Okay, maybe Bella didn’t say it out loud, but her cozy cuddles said it all!) Over the last few days, I managed to finish book #3 for the year and dive right into #4. 📚We also squeezed in a couple of movies—perfect snow day activities!

Tomorrow: Back to Work and a “Heatwave”! 😎
The temperatures are climbing to a balmy 25 degrees tomorrow, which will honestly feel tropical after these last few days. I’m ready to get back to work and embrace the “warmth.”
Projects, Lights, and Bills Pride
Even with all the indoor time, I stayed productive. I made great progress on an order for 15 tumblers—whew! I also decided to add some festive flair to my front windows, putting up red, white, and blue lights alongside my Bills decor to cheer on the boys this Sunday. ❤️🤍💙🏈 Let’s face it: the rest of the country (except my KC-fan neighbor!) is rallying behind the Bills. It’s time for someone else to shine, right? 😏
Next on My To-Do List: New Recipes
Now I’m off to create this week’s grocery list. I’m itching to try some new recipes, so stay tuned—I’ll be sharing any hits (and maybe some misses).👩🍳
Here’s to warmer days, creative projects, and a big Bills win! How are you staying cozy and productive during the cold snap? We would love to hear from you! Drop a comment! 👇
