Productive Crockpot Sunday

Today was another fantastic and productive Crockpot Sunday! Bella🐾 and I kicked off the day with a brisk morning walk. After breakfast, I got to work prepping the crockpot for today’s meal: chili! I wanted to use up the last of my tomatoes🍅 that had been ripening inside. The timing couldn’t have been better—it’s chilly and damp outside, making it the perfect day for a warm, comforting bowl of chili.🥣

With the crockpot bubbling away, I turned my attention to my pie pumpkin, ready to roast it up for some delicious fall flavors. While the pumpkin was in the oven, I got a little crafty! I worked on a few holiday gifts (top secret for now!)🤫 and created a new Thanksgiving🦃 garden flag along with a couple of ornaments for the season🎄. Crafting just brings me so much joy, and today was no exception!

When the pumpkin finished roasting, I blended it into a smooth puree. Some of it went into a batch of homemade pumpkin bread🍞, and the rest I portioned out and stored in the freezer for future baking adventures. And then came game time—the Bills were on! It was such an exciting game, and the boys clinched a victory!❤️🤍💙🏈

As the day winds down, Bella and I are snuggled up for some relaxing TV time📺. Tomorrow brings an early dentist 🪥 appointment and a few errands, but after that, I’m looking forward to a quiet day before heading back to work on Tuesday.
