This week has really been one for the books. Work was rough, and I stand by my belief that a full moon truly impacts student behavior! ππͺ People laugh when I say it, but anyone in education knows the chaos it can stir up.
After the long week, my brother came over to help me take down my outdoor gazebo. π‘We had to hustle after work to get all the patio lights and furniture taken down and stored away before the weather turns. By the time we finished, I was exhausted. π΄
Today, my plan was simple: relax with Bella πΎ and enjoy a peaceful day. But, of course, life had other plans! I realized the big brush pick-up is this Monday, not next week like I thought. So, after our afternoon walk πΆββοΈπ, I found myself out in the yard, clearing out my flower beds and getting all the debris to the curb. If I didnβt do it now, Iβd have to wait until Spring for the next bulk day.
Itβs one of my least favorite things to do because it means summer is officially over. All my beautiful flowers are getting ready to go to sleep for the winter, and Iβm just not ready to say goodbye. My gardens are my happy place all summer long, bringing me so much joy and peace. At least some of my veggie plants are still hanging on for dear life! Iβve still got some peppers and tomatoes growing, so Iβm holding onto that bit of summer for as long as I can! πΆπ π«
Now, it’s time to finally relax. My body is feeling the weight of the week, and I am done. π
