What motivates you?
Motivation is a powerful force that can shape our lives, pushing us to reach for our dreams and achieve what once seemed impossible. But the truth is, motivation isn’t always a constant. It ebbs and flows, influenced by the circumstances we face and the goals we set for ourselves. π
For me, motivation has come in many forms, often depending on what I’m working toward at the time. After my divorce, the desire to be independent and not rely on anyone else became a driving force in my life. It motivated me to work hard, pursue my dream of becoming a teacher in a local public school, and eventually achieve it. πͺ
My job became another source of motivation, fueling my determination to save money and buy a house of my own. The sense of accomplishment that came with these milestones was incredibly rewarding. π‘

There was also a time when I was motivated by the results I saw on the scale. Seeing the numbers drop after so much hard work was exhilarating. I was at my lowest weight since middle school, and it felt like I had finally conquered a long-standing challenge. But then, the COVID pandemic hit, and like many others, I lost that momentum. The weight slowly crept back on, and with it, the motivation seemed to slip away. π
Motivation, for me, is ever-changing. It’s a reflection of where I am in life and what I want to achieve. Right now, I’m searching for that spark againβto reignite the drive that once pushed me to reach my goals. It’s not easy, but I know that finding it again is possible. And when I do, I’ll be ready to take on whatever challenges come my way. π«
So, what motivates you? Whatever it is, hold on to it, nurture it, and let it guide you to the life you want to create. Comment and let me know what your motivation is…
