🌱 A Day Full of Fresh Veggies and Football 🎮

Today was all about enjoying the fresh veggies from my garden! 🥒 For lunch, I sliced up some crisp cucumbers and added some juicy cherry tomatoes straight from my backyard. 🍅 They were absolutely delicious! I savored every bite while watching the Bills game. 🏈 Sadly, they didn’t win this time. 😔 Bella and I were sad

Bella wanted snuggles after her boys lost.

Dinner was a new experiment in the kitchen. I finally used the shredded zucchini I had saved up and made Zucchini Garlic Bites. 🧄 They turned out pretty good, but next time I think I’ll try air frying them instead of baking. 🍽️ Gotta love that crispy texture!

After dinner, I took Bella for a nice walk to burn off some of those bites. 🐕 Then it was time to get my hands dirty and tend to the garden. 🌿 It rained so much yesterday that I couldn’t make it out last night, so today’s harvest was pretty abundant! 🌧️ However, my luck with cauliflower ran out—my purple cauliflower didn’t make it. 😢

Today’s harvest!

While I was out there, my amazing neighbor brought over two huge zucchini and a summer squash! 😍 I’m definitely going to prep those for freezing this week. I feel so lucky to have the best neighbors who always share their bounty. 🌟

All in all, despite the Bills’ loss and the cauliflower mishap, it was a pretty good day filled with fresh, homegrown goodness. 🌻
